Do I still have access to paid features after I cancel?

Yes. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, the account reverts to the Free plan with limited features.

Can I get a refund after canceling?

Omnisend's policy is generally no refunds. Exceptions may be considered if you never used the account in the last billing cycle, were charged after a cancellation, experienced a system malfunction, or had a compromised account. Contact support@omnisend.com to request a review.

Can I reactivate my paid plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade back to a paid plan at any time from within your account. Paid features are restored immediately upon upgrading.

Is my data deleted when I cancel?

No. Your contacts, campaigns, and reports are preserved on the Free plan. Automatic account deletion only occurs after 6 months of complete inactivity, with warning emails sent 14 days and 3 days before deletion.

Does canceling my plan also cancel my SMS subscription?

No. SMS subscriptions must be canceled separately under Store Settings → Pricing and usage → SMS credits tab. Unused SMS credits expire 60 days after purchase and are non-refundable.

Who can cancel the subscription?

Only account roles with Owner or Admin permissions can manage billing and cancel the subscription. Manager and Analyst roles do not have access to billing settings.

Log in to Omnisend

Open Store Settings

In the left sidebar, click 'Store Settings'.

Go to Pricing and Usage

Select 'Pricing and usage' from the Settings menu.

Open Plan Overview tab

Click the 'Plan overview' tab at the top of the page.

Click Cancel or Downgrade

Click the button labeled 'Cancel or Downgrade to the Free Plan'.

Complete the cancellation wizard

A multi-step feedback survey launches. Answer the questions about your reason for leaving.

Confirm the downgrade

After completing the survey, click to confirm. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, then reverts to Free.

Cancel SMS separately (if applicable)

If you have an SMS subscription, go to 'Store Settings' → 'Pricing and usage' → 'SMS credits' tab → 'Change SMS subscription' → 'Cancel Subscription'. Canceling the main plan does NOT cancel SMS.
