Can I still access my account after cancelling?

Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, access is removed. There is a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate and restore your data.

Will I get a refund when I cancel?

Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable as a general rule. However, if you experienced a system problem and feel their support was inadequate, Better Proposals will refund your last monthly payment with no questions asked. Contact support@betterproposals.io to request this.

Can I reactivate my account after cancelling?

Yes. Better Proposals provides a 30-day grace period after cancellation during which you can log back in and reactivate your account with all data restored. After 30 days, account data is permanently deleted.

What happens to my proposals and data after cancellation?

Upon full cancellation, your account and all associated data (proposals, templates, clients) will be removed. During the 30-day grace period the data is retained and recoverable via reactivation. After that it is permanently deleted.

Can I cancel by email or chat instead of through the dashboard?

Yes. You can cancel by emailing cancel@betterproposals.io or by using the live chat on the Better Proposals website, in addition to the self-serve dashboard method.

What is the Pause option and how does it differ from cancellation?

Pausing keeps your account and all data stored for $3/£3 per month plus VAT. While paused, your proposals won't be accessible online and you can't use the platform, but you can reactivate instantly at any time. It is a cheaper alternative to a full subscription if you plan to return.

Go to betterproposals.io and log in with your credentials.

Open Settings

Click on 'Settings' in the main navigation menu.

Go to Account > Billing

Inside Settings, navigate to the 'Account' section and select 'Billing'.

Choose Cancel or Pause

You will see two options: 'Pause' (keeps data stored for $3/£3 per month + VAT) or 'Cancel' (fully removes your account and data). Click 'Cancel' to proceed with full cancellation.

Provide cancellation feedback

Better Proposals may prompt you to explain why you are leaving. Fill in the optional feedback form or skip it.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm your decision to cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will occur.
