Review your subscription term end date
Log in to the Descope Console at app.descope.com. Go to Company Settings and note your current billing period end date. Cancellation notice must be submitted at least 30 days before the term end to avoid auto-renewal.
Compose a written cancellation notice
Prepare a written notice stating your intent to cancel at the end of the current subscription term. Include your company name, account email, and the specific plan you wish to cancel. Per Descope's Terms of Use (Section 4.1), written notice is required to prevent auto-renewal.
Send cancellation notice to support
Email your written cancellation notice to support@descope.com at least 30 days before your term end date. Alternatively, submit a support ticket directly from within the Descope Console using the support icon in the bottom-left corner.
Request data export (optional)
After cancellation is confirmed, you have a 15-day window to request your data in standard format. Contact support@descope.com to request a data export before this window closes, as Descope permanently deletes customer data after the 15-day period.
Delete your project (optional cleanup)
To remove your project from the console, go to app.descope.com, navigate to Project Settings → General, scroll to the bottom, and click 'Delete Project'. Confirm by typing the project name. Alternatively, from Company Settings → Projects tab, click the settings icon next to the project and select Delete.
