Log into Intercom
Go to app.intercom.com and sign in with an admin account.
Open Settings
Click on the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open Settings, then navigate to 'Subscription' or 'Billing'.
Contact billing or initiate cancellation
Intercom may require you to contact their team to cancel. Look for a 'Cancel subscription' link or a 'Contact us to cancel' option in the billing section.
Remove the Intercom Messenger
Before cancellation takes effect, remove the Intercom JavaScript snippet from your website and uninstall the SDK from your mobile apps.
Export your data
Export your customer conversations, user data, and help center articles. Go to Settings > Data Management > Export to request a data export.
Confirm cancellation
Complete the cancellation process either through the dashboard or by confirming via email with Intercom's billing team. Allow a few business days for processing.
