Log into Mailchimp
Go to login.mailchimp.com and sign in to your account.
Navigate to Account settings
Click on your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select 'Account & Billing' or go to 'Account' > 'Settings'.
Open Billing settings
Click on 'Billing' in the settings menu, then find the 'Monthly plan' or 'Pause or cancel account' option.
Choose to cancel
Click 'Cancel account' or 'Downgrade to Free'. Mailchimp may offer to pause your account instead of fully cancelling.
Export your data
Before confirming, export your audience data and campaign reports. Go to 'Audience' > 'All contacts' > 'Export Audience' to download your contacts.
Confirm cancellation
Type 'CANCEL' or your account name to confirm permanent account deletion, or select 'Downgrade to Free' to keep your account with limited features.

If you cancel Mailchimp, you'll lose access to advanced automation, A/B testing, segmentation tools, send time optimization, and your current contact limit. The free plan allows only 500 contacts and 1,000 monthly sends.
