Review your contract terms
Appian is an enterprise B2B platform sold under annual or multi-year contracts. There is no self-service cancellation button. Locate your subscription agreement to confirm your notice period — most contracts require 90 days written notice before the renewal date.
Log in to Appian Community
Go to community.appian.com and sign in with your Appian account credentials. This is the main portal for account and support management.
Contact your Account Manager
Reach out directly to your designated Appian Account Manager or Customer Success Manager. If you don't know who that is, email sales@appian.com with your company name and account details, stating your intent to cancel or not renew.
Send written cancellation notice
Send a formal written cancellation notice to Appian. This can be done via email to support@appian.com or info@appian.com, or by certified mail to: Appian Corporation, 7950 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA 22102. Reference your contract number and state the desired termination date.
Confirm receipt and termination date
Wait for written confirmation from Appian acknowledging your cancellation notice. Confirm the effective termination date (typically 90 days from notice for most subscription types, or the end of the contract term). Keep this confirmation for your records.
Export your data before access ends
Before your access is terminated, export any applications, process models, data, and configurations you need to retain. Log in to your Appian environment and use the admin console to download or export relevant assets.
