Understand the payment model
Counter.dev does not charge users via a subscription. It operates on a voluntary 'pay what you want' model. If you made a one-time or recurring voluntary payment, you need to cancel it through the payment provider you used (e.g., PayPal, bank transfer, or credit card recurring charge).
Cancel any recurring payment
Log in to whichever payment service you used when you donated (PayPal, your bank's standing order, etc.) and cancel the recurring payment or donation from there. Counter.dev does not manage recurring billing itself.
Log in to Counter.dev
Go to https://counter.dev and log in with your username and password.
Access the dashboard
Once logged in, you will land on your analytics dashboard at https://counter.dev/dashboard.html. All account management is handled from here.
Delete your account
Look for the danger/delete section in the dashboard. Click the delete button (marked with a red/danger style), then confirm deletion by interacting with the confirmation prompt ('Confirm deletion'). This removes your account and all tracked data.
Contact support if needed
If you cannot find the delete option or need help stopping a payment, email the developer directly at [email protected] (Irae Hueck Costa, Berlin). This is the sole support contact listed on the imprint page.
