Review your contract terms
Before initiating cancellation, locate your Pega Cloud Services Agreement or software license agreement. Note the subscription end date, any required notice period (typically 30–90 days before renewal), and any early termination clauses or fees that may apply.
Contact your Pega Account Executive
Reach out directly to your assigned Pega Account Executive (AE) — the primary commercial contact named in your contract. Inform them of your intent not to renew or to terminate. If you do not know who your AE is, visit pega.com/contact-us or call Pega's main line to be routed to the correct person.
Submit written cancellation notice
Send a formal written notice of non-renewal or termination to your Account Executive and to support@pega.com. Reference your contract number, company name, and desired termination/end date. Written notice is required per Pega's subscription terms — verbal requests are insufficient.
Request data export (within 15 days of termination)
Upon termination, submit a written data export request to Pega within 15 days of the termination date. Pega will return your data from the Pega Cloud Services Production environment in a common industry-standard format (e.g., database export), encrypted to customary standards.
Confirm environment decommission
Work with your Pega Account Executive and the Pega Cloud team to confirm that your cloud environments have been decommissioned and all data has been securely erased using industry-recognized methods. Request written confirmation of termination completion for your records.
