What happens to my reviews after I cancel?

All your reviews remain safe after downgrading to the Free plan. Your review data is preserved and will still be accessible. If you re-upgrade later, everything will be intact.

Do I get a refund when I cancel?

Judge.me does not generally issue refunds, but limited exceptions apply: you may request a refund if you upgraded and downgraded within 5 days, downgraded within 5 days after a free trial ended, or downgraded within 5 days of a new billing cycle start. Refunds are issued as Shopify app credits only — not to the original payment method. Each store is eligible for this exception only once, and charges older than 12 months are non-refundable.

Can I reactivate my Awesome plan after cancelling?

Yes. You can upgrade back to the Awesome plan at any time by going to Settings > Plan and clicking 'Upgrade to Awesome'. If you re-upgrade within the same billing cycle after downgrading, you will not be charged again for that period.

What features do I lose when I cancel?

Access to all Awesome plan features ends immediately upon downgrading, regardless of how much time is left in your billing period. Awesome-specific settings under Judge.me/settings will reset within 24 hours. You can export your settings before downgrading to restore them if you re-upgrade.

When does the cancellation take effect?

The downgrade to the Free plan takes effect immediately after you confirm. There is no end-of-billing-period grace period, so Judge.me recommends downgrading at the end of your billing cycle to get the most value from the plan you have already paid for.

What if I uninstall the Judge.me app instead of downgrading?

Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel billing in all cases. To properly stop charges, you should downgrade to the Free plan via Settings > Plan before uninstalling. If you reinstall later, your previous plan is not restored — you will need to manually select a plan again.

Open Judge.me admin

Go to Settings > Plan

In the Judge.me admin sidebar, click 'Settings', then select 'Plan' from the submenu.

Click 'End the subscription'

On the Plan page, locate the 'End the subscription' button in the top-left area of the page and click it.

Confirm with 'Downgrade to Free plan'

A confirmation prompt will appear. Click 'Downgrade to Free plan' to complete the cancellation. This takes effect immediately.

Check your email for confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email from pj@judge.me with a subject line indicating your plan has been updated. Keep this for your records.
