No. Cancelling stops the auto-renewal, but your subscription remains active and your devices stay protected until the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund after cancelling?

F-Secure offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on direct purchases. If you cancel within 30 days of purchase, contact F-Secure support for a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are generally not available for the remaining subscription period.

What if the 'Cancel your subscription' button is missing?

This means your subscription was purchased through a third party — such as an ISP, mobile carrier, Google Play, or Apple App Store. You must cancel through that third party directly, as F-Secure cannot process the cancellation on their end.

Can I reactivate my subscription after cancelling?

Yes. You can purchase a new subscription at any time via the F-Secure website. Your account and devices remain in the system, so reactivation is straightforward.

Will my data be deleted when I cancel?

Cancelling auto-renewal does not delete your My F-Secure account or data. To permanently delete your account, go to Account settings → Other settings → Delete my account. Note that account deletion immediately terminates all active subscriptions.

Do I need to uninstall F-Secure after cancelling?

You do not need to uninstall it immediately — the software will continue working until the subscription expires. After expiry, protection features will stop functioning and you can uninstall via your device's standard app removal process.

Log in to My F-Secure

Go to https://www.f-secure.com/en/login and sign in with your F-Secure account email and password.

Open the Subscription tab

Once logged in, click the 'Subscription' tab in the top navigation menu of the My F-Secure portal.

Go to Manage your subscription

Scroll down to the 'Manage your subscription' section on the Subscriptions page.

Click 'Cancel your subscription'

Click the 'Cancel your subscription' button (also described as 'I want to cancel auto-renewal'). Note: if this button is missing, your subscription was purchased through a third party (ISP, app store, or reseller) and must be cancelled there instead.

Confirm cancellation

Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm you want to cancel auto-renewal. F-Secure may present a retention offer or ask for a reason — proceed through and confirm the cancellation.

Check for confirmation email

You should receive a confirmation email. Your subscription will remain active and protected until the current billing period ends — it will not renew after that date.
