Yes. Sync.com uses zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption, meaning your files are encrypted before leaving your device. Even Sync.com cannot access your data.

What is the Sync.com free plan storage limit?

The Sync.com free plan provides 5 GB of storage. After cancelling a paid plan, your account reverts to the free 5 GB tier.

Can I export all my files before cancelling?

Yes. You can select all files in the Sync.com web app or desktop client and download them as a ZIP archive. Do this before your paid plan expires to ensure full access to all your files.

Go to sync.com and sign in with your email and password.

Open Account Settings

Click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner and select 'Account Settings' from the dropdown.

Go to Plan and Billing

Click 'Plan & Billing' in the left sidebar. Review your current plan and next renewal date.

Cancel Subscription

Click 'Cancel plan' or 'Cancel subscription'. Sync.com will show you what you will lose — review and click 'Confirm cancellation'.

Confirm and Download Data

After confirming, download any important files before your billing period ends. Your account will revert to the free 5 GB plan at the end of the period.
